Precision Metal Stamping and Tooling in Colorado

Frontier Metal Stamping builds the tooling, runs the parts and finishes them under one roof. Presses from 6 to 260 tons, dies designed and built in our own tool room, and a guarantee that once you have paid for a tool you never pay for it again.

We have been on the Front Range since 1984. The shop is in Frederick, thirty miles north of Denver, which puts most of the state’s manufacturing within a couple of hours: Longmont, Boulder and Fort Collins around us, the Denver metro to the south, Colorado Springs and Pueblo further down I‑25. Close enough that customers drive up to watch the first parts come off the press.

For over 40 years Frontier has built a reputation for meeting demanding requirements and quality standards, backed by people who answer the phone. We manage projects through every phase, from quote to finished part, and tell you where things stand before you have to ask.

We will also build a supply chain program around how you actually order — managing inventory, packaging, labeling and shipping so the parts are there when your line needs them, not three weeks early or two days late.

Frontier wins award from Colorado’s Environmental Leadership Program

Frontier processes a lot of metal every hour, every day, every year. Nearly all of it ends up in the parts we deliver, but there is always going to be some amount of scrap. We recycle all of it, and that won us an award in the recycling category of Colorado’s Environmental Leadership Program. At the awards banquet we received the Bronze Achiever award and heard from former Colorado governor Bill Ritter, an influential environmental advocate.

The Environmental Leadership Program is a statewide environmental recognition and reward program which offers benefits and incentives to members that voluntarily go beyond compliance with state and federal regulations and are committed to continual environmental improvement.
