The customer’s requirements are reviewed and well understood before moving forward on a project. FMS has implemented a system with 30+ check points to make sure we’ve thought of everything before processing a PO. The same engineer that designs the tooling is the same engineer that monitors die wear and reverse engineers issues on the floor, a fact that scores high for quality tool design. Similarly, the tool builders are responsible to ensure parts built from their tooling are 100% within spec. FMS Quality is involved through the entire process and performs a PPAP on 30 parts to verify that fact and the customer’s experience is superb.
